Spiritual Connections
At Choice Awareness Management we believe that a spiritual life is essential to our well being and our personal growth.
Background
We encourage participation in all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual activities that promote a strong and fruitful spiritual life.
These activities include daily meditation, prayer, personal writing, and connected conversations with significant others & partners to promote deep understanding.
We call these practice and daily disciplines and both are interchangeable.
We also encourage participation in retreats, weekend get-a-ways and private expeditions for connection with your partners, teams and especially your higher-power, however you define that for yourself.
We can't image it any other way for us or you.
This page contains some different perspectives, poetry and prayers that we find helpful for us - you may enjoy them as we do.
Catholic PERSPECTIVES
We recently read an article in January 2014 by Father Joe Weigman titled "Living the Beatitudes as a Source of Strength" [#20966] published by One Caring Place, Abbey Press, St, Meinrad, IN 457477, telephone (800) 325-2511. It touched us because our founder has been experiencing Sciatica for close to two years, which is sometimes debilitating and sometimes not: the connection was very strong and profoundly moving for him. Fr, Weigman mentioned a few separate publications, which you may find useful in receiving help for you or a family member.

Lord of Life
Lord of Life, guide my hand
Reveal to me your master plan
Of all things I could do and say
to bring to life thy Will today
Lord of Life, open my heart
Instruct me in the simple art
of going within this scared space
to hear your Word, receive your Grace
Lord of Life, support my soul
when times of test and pain unfold
Remind me then, I've chosen this:
a way to grow, the road to bliss
Lord of Life, surround my being
with tender light of timeless healing
So love on every side abounds
from me to others and back around.
Lord of Life, I humbly thank thee
for all the beauty around and in me
Flower, snow, wind and tree
Your blessings are everywhere
endless and free.

The First Joyful Mystery: Invitation (Prayer)
Father, each day you invite me to align my will with yours.
Each day I have the opportunity to bring Christ more into
the world, or not. Yet often I immediately question your
more challenging entreaties. Teach me your voice. Help me
to become aware of the invitation you bring to me each day
so that I might have courage and say yes. Help me to
give birth to all that you have planned for me. Come and
make your home in me too.
I pray for the virtue of faith.
