The Prosperity Mindset

We Are Preference Driven

We human beings have been raised with a set of conditioning and beliefs: we certainly hold on dearly to our many biases. We could call these preferences or prejudices – take your pick!!!

Does This Fit With Your Understanding?

Does This Fit With Your Understanding?

Whatever we choose to call these completely known (i.e. some are unknown) sets of ideas that exist within us, they clearly drive most of our actions and decisions we make. We possess hundreds if not thousands of these beliefs, which tend to operate in circles – forever repeating themselves from start to finish in a never-ending cycle. We make choices inside these circles using the same data without much consideration or thought.

Nothing Seems New

Not much appears new to us since we have categorized and stored away from past experiences and all the information gathering and previous decisions, which we can now recall and use to our benefit: you might concur? Well, from our historical observations, we continue to repeat our decisions. Either we select deciding to go ahead or not, with an occasional maybe (i.e., a rare instance).

Nothing new under the sun you might ask? It is a lot further there, but most of us use the strategy “Contempt before Investigation,” and we get no farther than “No, I am not interested” since it usually sounds so familiar to some recent inquiry or suggestion. To be kind, we live in a world today which bombards us all with numerous influencers, which begin sounding like sales pitches or standard opening lines: these tend to turn us off instantly. Our guard goes up, and we cringe and move away quickly too!!!

Are We Closed Off?

All these examples suggest a closed mind and attitude. Yet the reason is that the past experiences are in our belief systems, and these past choices come back to haunt us  - making us appear closed down to new ideas. This is not really the case, we just tend to listen to the mind bringing back those past experiences that flood us with such information, so we tend to be over-zealous in our choice-making, thinking the mind is really our friend – it is not. We are not making choices here but remembering a similar experience. Now that you get our drift that we are not always considering things too carefully, or with intent to learn profoundly or decide something special – we will introduce some new meanings for an old word.

An Over Used Word - Prosperity

The word is a simple, often over-used, yet a compelling word named “prosperity.” It will instantly have meaning to many of us, while usually being connected to financial gain. It has the dictionary definition of ” a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in economic respects; good fortune.” We want to expand this to have the meaning of a “thriving condition” in all aspects of one’s life and to include spiritual, family, friends, ideas, marriage, thinking, achieving, striving, etc. to be the complete, whole, and entirely encompassing components of your life. Think about all of your future dreams and aspirations as prosperity. Now wrap your mind around that concept for a few minutes and begin to understand how comprehensive this could be for you. We have created a running list of some words that can enrich your thinking about prosperity.

So we suggest you think about education, learning, building, creating, opening, stretching, comparing, expanding, neighboring, traveling, flying, spanning, birthing, constructing, playing, riding, driving and training to start. Then you continue this process by naming the next hundred to five hundred things which come to mind for you. Now you get the idea that prosperity can be completely limitless for you. Tuck this away into to your new belief system and consider for the next hundred days and see what comes from your exploration of it.
