Look at yourself before blaming others
Businesses perform an inventory to take stock of what’s present: it allows for ridding of stock that is obsolete or useless. We can do the same thing in our lives, either personal or business.
Are you willing to try this on for yourself?
If you have courage, and we believe you do, this is the moment for you to begin the process.
While others sit watching TV wasting their lives away unhappy with their circumstances searching for the elusive answers in entertainment (i.e. our society seems to languish here frequently these days), you can take a big leap of faith and look at what’s occurring for you.
Most people don’t do this…
Learning How to Be Different
We encourage you to be different, and we support you in this inspection in a couple of ways.
First and foremost, start measuring the essential things: it’s not your feelings about these things, it’s what you do that matters. Actually and much more to the point, it’s what you believe, what you choose and what you do that matters most – but you will learn this in due time.
Second, and with some regular frequency, you must place yourself in an inquiry. Inquiry simply means that you must either ask yourself or have someone ask you questions. The questions should address four unique areas of your life: 1) your purpose; 2) the people in your life; 3) the participation that you engage in your life, and finally, 4) the processes of your life.
These are all suggestions: by engaging in these ideas (i.e., we’re sharing what we have learned for ourselves), you become responsible for yourself, you make a stand for your future, and you can make adjustments and modifications along the way to account for effectiveness. Does it work or not?
Our experience from you and others (e.g., our human characteristics, faults, and favors) tells us that we have similarities. But, our pathway is the unconventional way, one in which discomfort and confusion may occur – this is very good indeed because it means that you are growing and learning.
We invite you to experiment with our tools and try them on for yourself – please share what occurs for you.
